My Story
Hi, I'm Ashley - the owner and vinyl artist here at FiftyEight Designs. I’m a railroad wife, a stay at home/homeschooling mom of two crazy boys and a goofy German Shepherd. In my free time you can find me watching horror movies, crafting, or baking. I’ve been learning the art of sourdough. I’m also a nature lover, and an amateur herbalist.
Born and raised in the Niagara Region Ontario, Canada, it's always been a passion of mine to create things and lately I've found that crafting helps keep me sane through all the chaos that life throws at us (and trust me, there's a fair amount of it!)
I got my first Cricut machine as a gift in 2011, and I was hooked. I started out making things for family and friends, then in 2019 I decided to officially open an Etsy shop so I could share my creations with others.
It's a pretty amazing feeling to know that something I've created has been sent to locations all over Canada, the United States and Europe!

About Our Decals
All our decals are individually die-cut meaning they have no background and are applied directly to your surface.
Made to order from premium 2.5mm thick PERMANENT water-resistant vinyl. It comes in a wide range of colors & is suitable for both indoor & outdoor use.
According to the manufacturer the durability of our vinyl is as follows:
Black, White & Standard Colors – 6 years.
Metallic Gold & Silver – 4 years
“Brilliant Blue” - 3 years
All decals come with the transfer tape already applied and they have been "pre-released" (peeled up) from the vinyl backing sheet. This makes it super easy to just "peel and stick" your new decal wherever you choose! They can be applied on most smooth clean and dry non-porous surfaces and look great on cars, laptops, tablets, water bottles, mugs, etc.
For the best and longest adhering - make sure to clean your surface with rubbing alcohol and ideal temperature during application should be between 7 and 32 C (45 and 90 F)
* For car windows etc. please remember to be careful with snow scrappers in the winter as they can chip and damage the vinyl.
* For things like cups and other washables let the decal cure fully for 2-3 days before your first washing to ensure maximum life of the decal.
*Objects with decals are HAND WASH ONLY, and shouldn't be placed in the dishwasher, or microwave.
All our decals are removable (apply heat with a blow dryer or scrape off gently) but they are not reuseable.
Please remember that due to them being individually cut there may be some minor discrepancies between each finished decal.
Colors will vary depending on your screen. Screen colors may not be an exact match to the actual color of the decal.

Decal Application
This decal can be applied to clean, non-porous surfaces, such as vehicles, mugs, laptops, tablets, etc. Ideal application temperature is between 7 and 32 C (45 and 90 F)
Make sure the surface in clean and dry. Slowly peel tape with decal away from paper backing.
Carefully line up your decal (once it touches, it will stick) Apply decal to desired surface.
Press firmly, push out any air bubbles. (credit cards work great for this)
Slowly peel the tape from the decal.
Let decal cure for 2-3 days before washing. This allows the adhesive to have time to fully adhere to the surface.
These decals are removable - (the easiest way to remove it to apply heat with blow dryer or heat gun) but they are not reusable.

Decal Care
Objects with decals are HANDWASH ONLY, NO SCRUBBING and PAT DRY to preserve the design.
Do Not Soak them for an extended period of time.
They are not Dishwasher or Microwave safe.
For car windows etc. please remember to be careful with snow/ice scrappers in the winter as they can chip and damage the vinyl.

Due to the custom nature of your order, ALL sales are final. I do not accept returns, or exchanges unless there is an error on my part.
Refunds will ABSOLUTELY not be given if the decal has been applied incorrectly. (This includes if it's crooked, has air bubbles, wrinkles, damage from attempting to remove it after sticking etc.) Or if you have not allowed for adequate delivery time before requesting a refund due to no show. Your decal will show up but unfortunately sometimes things are slower than you'd like which is beyond my control.
Cancellations will be accepted if they're done within TWO hours after ordering.

To keep shipping costs affordable, all decals are shipped using Canada Post Letter Mail.
Please keep in mind that letter mail does not include tracking or delivery dates.
If you'd wish to upgrade shipping to include tracking, please contact me prior to ordering so we can set up tracked, or expedited shipping.

Due to certain things beyond my control, I can't guarantee delivery dates at any time.
